About

Raised in Minnesota, I attended college in town at Minneapolis College of Art and Design. I earned my BFA in web and multimedia environments, an expansive major that allowed me to learn several mediums, programs, and skills. During my student years, I also participated in Northern Spark, which allowed me to bring my creative work out into the community. A week out of school I started my career in design at a small agency which allowed me to learn the ropes in a variety of roles. In most recent years I worked as the layout designer at City Pages up until its recent closure.

I’m an aesthetically driven person and in my design practice, usability is just as important. The purpose of good human-centered design is to communicate information - user experience in tandem with beautiful design makes a successful product.

Out of the house, I love gardening and karaoke. At home, I love painting, playing video games, making memes, and being a proud helicopter parent to my cat Harold☟
